Organisation
The Swedish Agency for Health and Care Services Analysis is led by a board of directors that makes decisions on the main strategic direction of activities as well as on which reports are to be published. The Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations.
The Agency and its board have the opportunity to appoint particular expert and reference groups as necessary for the purpose of gaining access to vital knowledge in various areas.
Advisory bodies
There is a special Patients’ Council affiliated to the Agency. The Council is tasked with identifying and submitting proposals regarding suitable areas for analysis and review. It also has the task of assisting the Agency in its work on identifying the information needs of patients and citizens. The council consists of representatives of patients and users of health and social care services. The members of the Patient’s Council are appointed by the Agency board of directors.
